simple-mbtiles-server 4.0.0 installed in a Python 3.12 venv, 81/81 tests pass, the server serves vector tiles from .mbtiles files and all API endpoints (tiles, styles, fonts, sprite, static assets, capabilities, index.html) respond correctly.

Used a real SQLite .mbtiles fixture (test/counties.mbtiles) to verify all endpoints. No external services were needed. The old test_mbtiles_s3_server.py is from the upstream mbtiles-s3-server project and tests S3 infrastructure with MinIO—it is incompatible with the renamed simple_mbtiles_server module.
