Both scripts compile, install cleanly via venv, and successfully interact with live 4chan API endpoints: thread-watcher queries the catalog and writes URLs, inb4404 downloads thread media files with validated content.

No errors encountered. Created a venv to work around the externally-managed environment, pip install of beautifulsoup4 and Django succeeded. Both scripts pass py_compile. Real 4chan API (a.4cdn.org) responded 200. thread-watcher correctly queried the catalog and found a live thread. inb4404.py downloaded 40+ files (jpg, png, gif, mp4, webm) from a real thread, verified by magic bytes and ffmpeg decode. --title option correctly used bs4+Django for original filenames. --track-downloaded feature correctly skips already-downloaded files.
