What the test found

npm install completes, npx tsc and npm run lint pass, and node verify.mjs exits 0 with ALL CHECKS PASSED covering add/search/filter/hits/persistence/LRU and the OpenAI embedding fetch path against a local mock server.

No test suite ships with the repo; I wrote verify.mjs to exercise the compiled package. Two core-library bugs (constructor load race, hit-counter mutation) were fixed in source and the rebuild re-verified. Real OpenAI keys were not used; the library's actual fetch POST was exercised against a local mock embeddings server

Argusic installed vector-storage in 1 minutes and launched it; verification reached Verified with mock services. 3 of 3 recorded errors were worked through (see the timeline below).
