Dependencies install and TypeScript builds succeed; the generator module loads and exports correctly; the test suite cannot execute due to GitHub template download timeouts from the generator's axios requests during Mocha's 'before all' hooks

The test suite (npm test) was attempted multiple times but each run hung for 60+ seconds on GitHub template downloads (https://github.com/OfficeDev/Office-Addin-TaskPane/archive/release.zip). Earlier in the session with [email protected], the test harness started but timed out on 'before all' hooks downloading project templates. The generator module loads correctly, the TypeScript build compiles, and npm install completes. 9 previously observed passing tests and 29 failing (pre-existing assertion mismatches) were seen with a different configuration that also hit network issues. The project fundamentally requires Node >=20.12.0.
